Join me for an engaging exploration of stage card magic, where ordinary playing cards become instruments of mystery, surprise, and impossible moments.
During this lecture, I will perform and discuss three powerful card effects designed for stage performance:
1. Fishing Card
My favorite routine, where a freely selected card is mysteriously “caught” using a fishing line in a playful and highly visual revelation.
2. Card Across
A selected card impossibly travels from one deck to another, creating a surprising transposition that challenges the audience’s sense of reality.
3. Torn and Restored Card in Impossible Location
A signed card is torn into pieces, restored, and then discovered in an unexpected and impossible location, providing a memorable climax that combines restoration, disappearance, and revelation.
In addition to the featured routines, I will share practical insights that can strengthen any card performance:
Throughout the lecture, we will examine the presentation, staging, audience management, and magical principles that make these effects effective for larger audiences. Whether you are interested in performance theory or practical routines, this session will offer insights into creating strong magical experiences with a simple deck of cards.
